Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is expected to visit Hanamkonda on May 12. BRS sources said that the CM will conduct a meeting with collectors and MLAs of undivided Warangal district to review the progress of development works.
Sources added that the CM is visiting Hanamkonda to attend a private function but has decided to hold a review meeting with MLAs and officials during his visit.
The MLAs from Warangal, Hanamkonda, Mahabubabad, Jangaon and Mulug were asked to attend the review meeting. Collectors of the respective districts were also also asked to attend
the CM's meeting.
The prime focus would be on the progress of Warangal Health City project under which the state government is building a 24-floor super specialty hospital on 56 acres at a cost of Rs. 1,200 crore with an aim to extend quality medical treatment to people of North Telangana districts.
The CM laid the foundation stone for this project, considered the largest super specialty hospital in the state with over 2,000 beds, in June 2021. The government has set a deadline to complete this project by this year-end.
