KCR to visit four States from tomorrow

As part of his quest for forging a federal front as an alternative to the Congress and BJP at the Centre, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will leave city on December 23 to mobilize support from regional parties in four States — Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and New Delhi and hold meetings with Odisha Chief Minister Navin Patnaik, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Bahujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav.

The Chief Minister hired a special flight for TRS party for one month to hop the four cities along with his family members. He will depart from Begumpet airport on Sunday morning for Visakhapatnam where he will visit Sharada Peetham and perform special prayers at the Sri Rajasyamala temple. KCR will also seek the blessings of Swami Swarupanandendra Swamiji and have lunch at the Ashram. From Vizag airport, KCR will proceed to Bhubaneshwar, capital of Odisha and will call on Odisha counterpart Navin Patnaik at his residence in the evening. KCR will also stay for the night at the official residence of the Odisha

On December 24, KCR will visit Konark Temple and Shri Jagannadha Temple after completion of the rituals and reach Bhuvaneshwar for lunch. From Bhuvaneshwar, KCR entourage will proceed to Kolkata in the special flight and will call on West Bengal Chief Minister M Mamata Banerjee at 4 pm. After the meeting with Mamata, KCR will visit Goddess Kalimata Temple and worship the deity. Same day night, he will leave for New Delhi.

From December 25, KCR will remain in New Delhi for two or three days and will make a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. KCR will also call on the Central Election Commissioner, BSP supremo and UP former Chief Minister M Mayavati and UP former CM Akhilesh Yadav. He will also be meeting the Union Ministers concerned and discuss about issues pertaining to the Telangana State with them. The Chief Minister will also hold a formal meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and submit representations on pending Telangana State issues, including provisions under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014.
