KCR wants all land records digitized

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday instructed the officials concerned to filter all land records in the state and make details of land owners public. The CM wanted officials to conduct a special drive all over the State for survey and settlement. He wanted all the land transactions, both sale and purchase, to be done in a transparent way , including pattadar pass books and pahani



documents, to put an end to confusion; that land transactions and records should be maintained like bank transactions.

He instructed officials to plan out a strategy tomodernise transaction records, and to prepare an action plan to implement survey settlement with village as a unit and launch the survey as early as possible, covering 2.70 crore acres.
