Khammam district registered a high of 46°C on Sunday while other districts of Telangana registered a high of 44.8°C and Hyderabad ranged from 41 to 42°C.

Temperatures fell a little in the evening, after 5.30 pm, to 39.2°C in Hyderabad and 39.3°C in Khammam. Dry weather conditions with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are forecast over the next three days.

On Sunday, Jagtial district was at 44.8, Nirmal at 44.6 and Kumuram Bheem at 44.4. Maximum temperatures are expected to be near normal at many places and will



range from 38°C to 42°C.

In Hyderabad too, the dry weather will continue and temperatures are expected to range from 39 to 41°C.

The thunderstorm in the region will bring a good amount of rainfall to Khammam, Suryapet, Kothagudem, Shamirpet, Vikarabad and Mahbubabad districts, with winds of 30 to 40 km per hour, and lightning.  

The increasingly humid conditions and the increased temperatures will result in pre-monsoon showers over the next three days.
