Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Wednesday said that their new political party has the support of the civil society in Telangana and that the ‘might and strength’ of the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) would be displayed at its public meeting in the city on April 29.
Unveiling the TJS party flag on Wednesday, Kodandaram said, “When we could emerge victorious in the Telangana agitation by achieving statehood, there should be no doubt on winning at the hustings too. TJS is going to do
it in order to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of the people of Telangana. TJS will work to achieve social justice,” he said.
He also made it clear that those who had played a crucial role in the Telangana statehood agitation would get crucial positions in the TJS. “We will not tolerate any kind of suppressive and oppressive politics. KCR has unleashed an autocratic rule. This TRS rule is against the aspirations of the people of Telangana and TJS is going to put an end to it,” he said.
