Industries minister K.T. Rama Rao along with energy minister G. Jagadish Reddy on Tuesday inaugurated the Telangana Industrialists Federation's (TIF) skill development centre and common facility centre at the TIF MSME Green Industrial Park in Dandu Malkapur, on Tuesday.

The ministers also inaugurated 51 industrial units (MSMEs), the Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) office and the TIF office.

Speaking at the Telangana Industrial Pragathi Utsavam held at venue, Rama Rao highlighted the progress that Telangana had achieved in nine years across all field.

He emphasised the advancements made by Telangana in the areas of environment and industry. The state has witnessed comprehensive, equitable, and inclusive development and was becoming a shining example for others to follow, he said.

The state’s TS iPass single-window clearance system had streamlined the process, granting permission within 15 days, a feat applauded by industrialists who mentioned that such efficiency was uncommon.

Haritha Haram, the second-largest afforestation programme, worked to create a greener environment. The government’s

commitment to sustainability has garnered accolades, the state’s villages had 30 national-level awards for rural governance; towns also were being recognised at the national level.

Rama Rao drew attention to the power cuts still prevalent in states like Gujarat, emphasising the stark contrast with Telangana's uninterrupted power supply. IT exports scaling new highs and record-breaking grain yields demonstrate the state's achievements across sectors, he said.

The government planned to provide skill training to thousands of youth through the Skill Building Centre established at the Dandu Malkapur Park, he said..

The two ministers also laid the foundation stone for Telangana Toys Park at Dandu Malkapur. The exclusive facility will be developed with infrastructure and facilities to promote manufacturing of soft, electronic, plastic, non-toxic, silicone toys and eco-friendly toys.

Developed by TSIIC, the Telangana Toy Park is expected to generate many new employment opportunities particularly to rural youth, local residents and regional artisans making wooden toys.
