KT Rama Rao slams Congress govt for failing Telangana farmers

With farmers struggling to get financial assistance for their Yasangi (Rabi) crop, BRS working president KT Rama Rao expressed outrage over their plight under the Congress rule. He slammed the Congress government for abandoning farmers and turning its back on welfare schemes.

Taking to X on Wednesday, Rama Rao said farmers who



were once self-reliant and confident, were now battling despair due to lack of assistance from the State government.

He criticised the State government over its failure to provide Rythu Bharosa financial assistance to farmers for two consecutive crop seasons and providing only partial assistance in the previous Yasangi season.
