State Minister for Information technology and Industries KT Rama Rao showed admiration for the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar once again by sharing a picture of both to wish the latter on his 47th birthday.
“Happy birthday @sachin_rt. May you live long & stay blessed,” KTR tweeted with a selfie taken by Tendulkar. The iconic cricketer, the lone sportsperson to be conferred with Bharat Ratna, is reportedly not celebrating his birthday due to Covid-19 and joined in solidarity with the warriors fighting against the pandemic.
Meanwhile, wishes poured in from all quarters for the cricketer who has scored 34,357 international runs across all the three formats – 18,426 in ODIs and 15,921 in Tests. Apart from this, he is the only batsman to score 100 international centuries (51 Tests and 49
ODIs).

Indian cricket board BCCI tweeted, “As the Master Blaster @sachin_rt turns 47, we relive one of his glorious knocks against England in 2008. He dedicated this ton – 41st in Test cricket, to the victims of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Here’s wishing the legend a very happy birthday,” with a video clip of his knock.
Indian team coach Ravi shastri too joined in wishing the little master saying, “Happy Birthday, Bossman. Legacy you’ve left behind in the sport is immortal. God bless Champ.”
