BRS working president KT Rama Rao fired at the Congress government for neglecting Gurukul students, while prioritising personal and political gains. Criticizing Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, he said while students were struggling for basic needs, the Chief Minister was focusing on his wealth and influence.

In a series of posts on X, Rama Rao explained dire conditions in Gurukul residential welfare schools, stating that students were being forced to eat worm-infested food and endure illnesses due to inadequate facilities. He lambasted Revanth Reddy over misplaced priorities with focus on establishment of Pharma Villages to benefit his family and taking up Musi River Rejuvenation Project, while ignoring the plight of students. “While children suffer in ambulances, the Chief Minister indulges in

helicopter rides and lavish meals. While students struggle for quality food, the Chief Minister is busy gathering moneybags,” he said.

The BRS working president also condemned the government’s inaction on incidents of student hospitalisation, snake bites, and unreasonable deaths. He said likened the Congress rule to that of a vultures reign preying on poor children.

He found fault with the State administration including the Chief Minister for ignoring a tribal student who is struggling for her life for past 20 days, following her hospitalisation due to food poisoning and failing to address systemic failures. He warned that the neglect of Gurukul students would lead to the Congress government’s downfall. “Their suffering will mark the end of this demon rule,” he declared.
