KTR calls BJP a Bharatiya Jhoot Party

Mon 17 Sep 2018, 12:32:32
Caretaker Minister for Municipal Administration K T Rama Rao here on Sunday assailed the BJP and its President Amit Shah for criticising caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for opting for early elections. He described the BJP as ‘Bharatiya Jhoot Party’ and Shah as ‘Bhramit Shah’.

Speaking at a meeting with the Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency workers, Rama Rao lashed out at the BJP President. “Narendra Modi as Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2002 and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee too had gone for early polls in 2004.

How can it be correct if the BJP does it and how it could be wrong if we do it,” questioned the caretaker Minister. He said the BJP chief was daydreaming every day.

The party, which could not secure even a single seat in the elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, is boasting about its strength, said Rao.

The TRS leader alleged that the BJP had deceived the people of the two Telugu states. “Except giving a broomstick and calling for Swachh Bharat, the Modi government has done nothing

for the people.

We are yet to get ‘Achhe Din’... how many poor people were given money by bringing the black money stashed away in other countries? Our fight is with Congress party,” said Rama Rao.

He said the Chief Minister and Owaisis are not scared of Modi. He asserted that the TRS is a secular party. He questioned the Centre on Bayyaram steel plant, ITIR, division of High Court etc.

Rama Rao also said the Congress leaders, who cannot win on their own, are trying to form an alliance and added that this is not ‘Maha Kutami’ but a ‘Swaha Kutami.’

He said the Hyderabad city should be development. He said the Congress and BJP were trying to provoke and create differences on communal lines.

In the coming three years, the government would spend Rs 50,000 crore under ‘Mission Hyderabad’ for providing basic infrastructure, he said.

The Metro Rail stretch between Ameerpet and LB Nagar would be inaugurated within a week.
