Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) and Ficci Ladies Organisation (FLO) are developing an industrial park dedicated to women entrepreneurs at Sultanpur, spread over 50 acres, adjacent to the medical devices park. Taking this initiative to the next level, Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao handed over the land allotment letters to 18 women entrepreneurs who will set up their units in the industrial park.

The entrepreneurs will be setting up units across industrial verticals



that include packaging, handloom, electronics and electrical, food processing, medical devices, furniture and general engineering.

These companies are expected to bring in investments to a tune of Rs 150 crore through the industrial park, in the first phase, which will generate employment.

This is also a first such industrial park being created for women entrepreneurs at Ficci and FLO, ever. All the companies are 100 per cent women-owned.
