An air-conditioned bus shelter was inaugurated by Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development K T Rama Rao at HITEC City’s Shilparamam in Hyderabad. It is also the first shelter to have modern facilities such as; kiosk, coffee and cool drink vending machines, small food courts, ATMs, separate toilets for ladies and gents.
In a tweet, KTR shared a few pictures of the bus shelter and wrote: “Inaugurated a grade A bus shelter at
Shilparamam in Hyderabad developed in PPP mode. Amenities include; AC, WiFi, Coffee machines, Cold Beverages, Mobile charging points & Baby feeding/changing rooms. Total of 826 bus shelters to be developed in PPP mode.”
Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Local MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, and Commissioner of GHMC Dr B Janardhan Reddy were also present at the time of inauguration on Tuesay.
