KTR keen to start Monorail in IT Corridor

IT Minister KT Rama Rao today disclosed that the State government was mulling to start Mono Rail facility in the IT Corridor.

Inaugurating CBRE office at Knowledge City in Rayadurgam here on Monday, the IT minister said the State government launched Metro Rail as part of providing modern transport facility. He said a plan was on cards to start Mono Rail facility in the IT Corridor that will cater to the needs of the



employees. The Metro Rail first phase works will be completed by the end of this year and will pave way for more opportunities for investors in the city.

The IT minister also said there was scope for development on the east side of Hyderabad. Now, the industrialists, businessmen and other investors can focus on their businesses at Uppal and Adibhatla areas in the east of Hyderabad, he added.
