TRS working president KT Rama Rao was all praise for Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) after its sales shot up from Rs 11,928 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 25,828 crore in 2018-19, registering a record 116.5 per cent increase in five years of the State’s formation.
He said the company grew exponentially in last five years under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
In a tweet,
Rama Rao said: “Profits have grown from Rs 419 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 1,600 crore in 2018-19 which is 282 per cent growth. My compliments to the employees of SCCL and its chairman and managing director N Sridhar”. SCCL emerged as one of the best-performing State-owned entities in the country in recent times. It outstripped the eight top ‘Maharatnas’ companies such as Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Coal India Ltd.
