Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister, K.T. Rama Rao laid foundation stone for 10.05 km span extra dosed cable-styled bridge across Durgam Cheruvu at Madhapur here on Wednesday.
“The cable suspension bridge being built by L&T Constructions at an estimated cost of Rs. 184-crore will address the traffic woes on the roads leading to Jubilee Hills Road No. 36 and Road No. 45 and Hitec City, Gachibowli and Financial district,” Mr.Rama Rao said.

The Minister asked the L&T officials to finish by the work within 14 to 18 months, to ease the traffic congestion in the areas as Madhapur and other parts in the IT Corridor are the fastest growing areas in the city.
Mr.Rama Rao also laid foundation stone for the construction of model cycling track and model walking track being developed by K Raheja Mindspace as part of the corporate social responsibility.
