Industries Minister K. Tarakarama Rao met Hyundai Corporation’s Executive Vice-President Nam Geunho in Seoul, South Korea yesterday and explained various features of Telangana Government’s new investment policy. KTR explained the various investment opportunities in Telangana and also gave an overview of TSiPASS single-window clearance initiative for investors.
Accompanied with IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and Advisor to TS Govt G. Vivek, KTR is on a 10-day tour to three countries Switzerland, Japan and South Korea. On the first day of his tour, the delegation met heads of several prominent companies. The delegation met Youngone Corporation Chairman Kihuk Sung whose company had recently announced a USD 300 Million investment in Kakatiya
Textile Park.
An agreement was signed between Govt of Telangana and MOIBA (Korea Mobile Internet Business Association) to collaborate in the AVCGI, AI, VR, AR, IoT and Electronics manufacturing sectors. The delegation met Choi Dong Jin, Executive Director, and representatives from MOIBA – an association of about 500 Mobile Internet companies based in South Korea
“Had a super busy first day at Seoul. Starting with a breakfast meeting with Vice Minister & ending with a dinner meeting with a large Corp.
Two important MoUs signed & had good meetings with potential investors. Another super cold early 6:15am start awaits tomorrow,” KTR said in a Tweet.
