Industries and Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao met various industrial heads during his visit to Japan on Wednesday and invited them to invest in Telangana. Along with the investments, the government would adopt the methods of Japan in scientific progress, especially industrial development and waste management, the Minister said.
The IT Minister’s team reached Japan on Wednesday, from South Korea and met delegates of 12 companies. The Minister urged the Indian Ambassador Sujan Chenoy to assist develop financial institutions and establish business partnership between Telangana and Japan. Rama Rao said Japan’s financial institutions such as Japan
International Cooperation Agency (JICA) were funding many projects in Telangana and the government would expect financial partnership in other projects.
KT Rama Rao described the investment opportunities in Telangana and discussed on strengthen business and financing relations with Finance, Commerce and Industrial Minister of Japan, Yoji Muto. The Minster urged Takuam representatives to invest in waste management. “Nearly half of the Telangana State is an urban area and with the urbanisation, the government is giving priority to the waste management. The government expecting high-tech waste management solutions in Hyderabad,” he said.
