KTR pulls up officials for bad roads in Hyderabad

Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K Taraka Rama Rao, at a review meeting here on Tuesday, took the officials to task on the bad condition of city roads.

The Minister said the pathetic civic condition of city due to the lethargic attitude of the GHMC had dented the image of the government.The reputation and the image the State government had build over the time through its good work had been watered down by



the bad road conditions of the city due to the apathy of the GHMC officials.

The Minister said officials had presented before him the same excuses which they did over two months ago when he reviewed the city civic conditions. 

He said he was aware of the negligent officers and the contractors and warned them that they would face action if they failed to take up the repairs of city roads on a war-footing.
