The IT, Municipal
Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, K T Rama Rao,
received the CNBC-TV18 instituted 'Promising State of the Year" award on
behalf of the Telangana Government here on Tuesday evening. The award was given
away by the Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley to him at a function.
Rama Rao thanked the
organizers for the award and said it had been bagged by the State because
of
the great strides in development it had made in just two years of its formation
due to the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao.
He added that the State was making all round progress and would keep up its promising performance by racing to the top ranks in the ease of doing business. These awards are part of the India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) instituted by the channel.
