Minister for IT and Municipal Administration and Urban Development K T Rama Rao will hold a road show in Huzurnagar on October 4 as part of the electioneering for TRS candidate Shanampudi Saidi Reddy in the by-election to Huzurnagar Assembly constituency.

About 100 Congress workers joined the TRS at Huzurnagar in the presence of TRS in-charge for the by-election Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Rajeshwar Reddy said Rama Rao’s road show was expected to attract over 20,000 people, who will participate in the road show on the main road in Huzurnagar.

He said that TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy was making baseless comments against TRS leaders since the fate of the Congress candidate in the by-election was sealed. Realising the pulse of the people of Huzurnagar, the CPI announced its support for the TRS candidate in the

by-election. People in every village in Huzurnagar Assembly constituency were extending their support to the TRS candidate since they had seen the development programmes and welfare schemes taken up by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He has asked the party leaders and members to work in tandem for the victory of the party candidate.

TRS state general secretary Thakkenapalli Ravinder Rao exuded confidence that TRS candidate would win in the by-elections and put an end to the cheap politics of TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy in the constituency. He alleged that Uttam Kumar Reddy has adopted false propaganda against TRS candidate with fear of defeat of Congress candidate and his wife Uttam Padmavathi in the by-elections.

He said that the TRS candidate would win in the by-elections with 40,000 votes majority.
