The TRS working president had a meeting with the party general secretaries at Telangana Bhavan, where he focused on the issues like voter enrolment and party offices in districts. The TRS working president wanted the leaders to focus on voter enrolment especially after the experience of many votes getting deleted during the just-concluded Assembly elections.

He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao gave directions to the party leaders to take part in the enrolment. He

asked the MLAs to take special interest working with the general secretaries and mandal level party leaders. He asked the general secretaries to be in villages for the next one month overseeing the enrolment drive.

A special team would be formed in Telangana Bhavan, which would monitor the enrolment drive. The leaders should send details every second day on the number of voters enrolled with photocopies to Bhavan. The leaders should also send the number of new voters enrolled, said Rao. He added that MLC M Sreenivas Reddy would be overseeing this process.

Rao said that the Chief Minister had given another important task of having party offices in districts. He said that as per the permission from the government, there is chance of acquiring 1,000 sq yards land in districts. He informed that till now land was identified in 20 districts.
