Kamareddy: Following Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's announcement of his intention to contest from the Kamareddy Assembly constituency, a meeting of BRS activists has been scheduled for October 7 in Kamareddy. BRS working president and IT minister K.T. Rama Rao will address the party leaders and workers on Saturday in Kamareddy. Government whip Gampa Govardhan is making arrangements for the meeting.

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has declared his intention to simultaneously contest from both the Gajwel and Kamareddy Assembly constituencies in the upcoming elections. BRS party leaders and activists eagerly await this interaction with the party's high command. Initially, MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha had planned to hold a meeting for party activists in Bhiknoor, later shifting it to Kamareddy, but these plans did not materialise. The party senior leaders had hoped for a

meeting with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan, which also did not happen.

With the Assembly elections approaching, the ruling BRS has decided to convene a meeting with its party cadre at the Government Degree College grounds. BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao will travel to Kamareddy by road on Saturday to address the party activists during the meeting.

The party's district leadership has issued a directive for all mandal and village-level leaders to attend the meeting. Additionally, minister K.T. Rama Rao is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for a mini stadium at the Indira Gandhi statue in Kamareddy town. Government whip Gampa Govardhan expressed the importance of both party activists and the public contributing to the grand success of the public meeting on Saturday.
