The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) decided to lay foundation stone of two logistic parks at Batasingaram and Mangalapally on October 3.
The HMDA Commissioner T Chiranjeevulu said the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K Taraka Rama Rao will lay the foundation stone at Batasingaram and Mangalapally logistic parks. He said after the foundation stone ceremony a public meeting will be held at Batasingaram Park and during the afternoon session a board meeting will be conducted with K T Rama Rao and other officials.
The two logistic parks at Batasingaram and Mangalapally will be taken up on
Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. The Batasingaram logistic park is spread across 40-acres at Batasingaram village on Vijayawada highway and the cost of the project is Rs 35 crore, whereas the Mangalapally logistic park is around 22-acres at Mangalapally village on Nagarjuna Sagar highway with the cost of Rs 20 crore.
These logistic parks would provide infrastructure facilities for efficient logistics management. The park is integrated as one stop facility for freight operators, third party logistic service provider, cargo handling companies, truck drivers, vehicle testing centre and warehousing parking.
