KTR to open Chandrayangutta Flyover today

Minister K T Rama Rao will inaugurate the Chandrayangutta expansion flyover on Tuesday at 11 am. The flyover is part of the SRDP (Strategic Road Development Plan). Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, president AIMIM and Hyderabad MP will preside the function and Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi Chandrayangutta MLA  will be the chief guest.

The expansion of the bridge is done on the representation of Majlis leaders.  The length of the Old and New



bridge is one kilometer. In these areas so many schools, hospitals and function halls are situated. This area is thickly populated so the expansion of the bridge was much needed to ease the traffic.

The four lane 674-metre flyover cost Rs.45.87 crore including utility shifting and land acquisition. That traffic can enter the flyover without stopping at Kandikal Gate and Barkas junctions.
