KTR will soon tour Gulf countries

IT and NRI affairs minister K T Rama Rao will soon tour Gulf countries to learn about the problems being faced by people from Telangana there.

The minister said this when he met members of a delegation from Emirates Telangana Cultural Association Dubai-UAE on Tuesday . The members gave



him a representation on the problems of NRIs.

The association urged the minister to crackdown on agents who deceive job-seekers in the Gulf. They said because of illegal agents, workers had not been receiving salaries and there had been a rise in suicides.
