KTR's tweet helps elderly get shelter and clothes

A tweet to municipal administration and IT minister K T Rama Rao helped a destitute woman on the streets in Sikh Village in Secunderabad.The woman was shifted to Uppal Night shelter where she was given medical assistance and clothing.

According to GHMC officials a tweet to KTR



revealed that a woman who is psychologically unsound was found lying for three days near Saibaba temple in Sikh Village. Following the tweet GHMC Executive Engineer Anil Raj shifted the aged woman to the night shelter. The woman thanked the officials for giving her shelter.
