On receiving a message from the control room, police patrolling vehicle went to Kumar’s house and rushed him to Omni hospital in Kukatpally. As Kumar has to undergo surgery immediately, the Inspector paid Rs.20,000 towards the hospital bill and helped him in undergoing the operation the next day.
A day later, doctors discharged Kumar from the hospital. On coming to know about the initiative taken
by the Inspector, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister appreciated the former for helping Kumar during a medical emergency situation and paying the hospital bill.
“This act was a great gesture on your part and I appreciate your exemplary effort. Your deed is an inspiration to all persons involved in the fight against COVID-19,” Chief Minister said in an appreciation letter addressed to the Inspector.
