Hyderabad: Health Minister Dr. Lakshma Reddy on Thursday said that the State Government wants to make a ‘Healthy Telangana’ before pursuing the goal of ‘Bangaru Telangana’.
Speaking after releasing the Diary of Telangana Medical and Health Gazetted Officers Association in the State Secretariat here, the health minister said that the government doctors and other staff of medical and health department should work dedicatedly to achieve the goal of ‘Healthy
Telangana’.
He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has been working very hard to turn the State into ‘Bangaru Telangana’. However, he said that the medical and health department officials and staff need to take the responsibility of turning the entire State healthy.
Association’s Honorary President and MLA Srinivas Goud, Association leaders J. Rajender, Kaleemuddin, Venugopal Reddy, Ramanjayeulu and others were also present on the occasion.
