Last date for Haj applications is Dec 12

The Telangana State Haj Committee announced that the December 12 will be the last day for the submission of online applications for the Haj pilgrimage of 2019. The special officer at the committee, Prof SA Shukoor, on Sunday said, “The last date for the submission of online Haj applications will be on December 12, and the aspiring applicants are requested to avail of the elaborate arrangements made by the committee for filing the Haj applications.”

Shukoor said that the facility would be available only on Monday and Wednesday, and that the applicants should use the opportunity. He added that the Haj applicants should possess a valid international passport that is issued on or before December 12, 2018, and is valid till January 31, 2020. The applicant should submit a hard copy of the application in the office of the committee, so that the cover number is



generated and allotted, he said.

Haj Committee inaugurated free online application form facility at Haj House in October.Chairman at TS Haj Committee Mohammed Masiullah Khan and Mohammed Saleem MLC, chairman at TS Wakf Board, described the facility as the one that would help the aspirants to access applications easily, reducing the hindrances for processing.

Following the inauguration, a large number of aspiring Haj applicants approached the special counters set up for the purpose. Shukoor said that the facility would operate in all working days till the last date of submission of Haj forms. Free photo copy facility is also provided to the applicants at the Haj House. Similar facility is also being extended to the district level centers by the respective voluntary Haj societies, the officer said.
