Law soon to prevent changes in Telangana Thalli statue, says Bhatti

Claiming that the new Telangana Thalli statue reflected Telangana’s cultural heritage and self-respect, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday said the government would bring a law that would not allow anyone to make changes in the design of the statue in future.

Legislative Council on the installation of the Telangana Thalli statue on the Secretariat premises, Bhatti said though there were various forms of Telangana Thalli statues in the State, non had been declared as the official statue. Hence the State government decided to install a statue that reflects the spirit, culture and history of Telangana.
