LB Nagar-Ameerpet Metro Rail will be launched in August

The much awaited LB Nagar- Ameerpet Metro Rail Facility will be launched in August, according to Hyderabad Metro Rail Managing Director NVS Reddy. He told media persons that they are conducting electricity tests for this route now. NVS Reddy said that trail runs will be completed by July and the metro rail will be launched from LB Nagar to Ameerpet in August. As many as 80000 people are being traversed everyday in the metro rail facility he said. Metro Rail on Ameerpet- Hitech City route will be started



in October and on JBS-MGBS route will be completed in March next year.

NVS Reddy said that land acquisition works in the old city for metro rail facility are going on. He also said that all the major routes will be linked to international airport in second phase of works. Metro Rail facility from Nagole to Shamshabad will also be started he said adding that metro pillars will get unique numbers for easy identification.
