LB Nagar underpass set to open next month

The civic body is planning to make it operational by the fourth week of March.Close to 85% of the work, pertaining to the underpass at Chintalkunta check post near LB Nagar, has been completed, said GHMC officials.

According to GHMC officials the nderpass is being constructed at a cost of Rs.12.70 crore under



StrategicRoad Development Project(SRDP) and will ensure free flow of traffic from Bairamalguda towards Vijayawada highway. Ason date, work is on to construct the underground block drains. “Around 65 meters of underground block drains along the Vijayawada highway to Bairamalguda has to be constructed,” said a GHMC official.
