The Hyderabad city saw a cooler Wednesday, with light showers and cloud cover for most part of the afternoon.
The maximum temperature recorded on Wednesday in the city according to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) was 30.6 degree Celsius and according to Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSPDS), Secunderabad witnessed the maximum temperature in the GHMC area, with 32.8 degree Celsius.
Several places in the city also saw light rainfall, ranging from 0.5 mm of rain in LB Nagar and Amberpet, while other areas
including Saidabad, Secunderabad, Nampally, Asifnagar saw slightly higher rainfall between 0.8 mm and 1.8 mm of rain. This made up for a pleasant June afternoon, typical of what could be expected around this time.
IMD also predicted a similar weather pattern over the next few days, with cloudy skies and light rain and drizzle, with maximum temperatures hovering around 31-33 degree Celsius and minimum temperature of 25 degree Celsius. This pattern is expected till June 25 with 34 degree Celsius expected later.
