The state will continue to receive light to moderate rains for five days, as against the heavy downpours of the previous three days, according to an IMD forecast on Friday. The cyclonic circulations had had caused the heavy rains had subsided, it said.

Most parts of the city remained dry. Nizamabad recorded 47.5 mm rainfall, highest in the state, as per



the TS Development and Planning Society.

There is a possibility for rains to intensify after three days, but the IMD has issued no warning.

Nalgonda recorded a low of 21.4ºC and Hayathnagar 22ºC. The city will be windy and humid, with hazy mornings and cooler evenings.
