Lighting kills 21 goats of farmer near Sadasivapet

Lighting killed 21 goats of a farmer at Isritabad in Sadasivapet mandal on Thursday evening. While the farmer Balaram Lachaiah was grazing his goats on the outskirts of Isritabad, the area witnessed heavy rains coupled with



thunderstorms.

While the farmer, and goats took shelter under the trees, lightning struck on the goats, leaving 21 dead on the spot. Luckily, the farmer, who was standing just a few meters away, survived without any injuries. The farmer said that he had suffered some Rs 4 lakhs loss.
