Local Authorities Destroyed the Masjid Khaja Mahmood in Shamshabad Hyderabad

A masjid in Shamshabad has been demolished by municipality with assistance from the police. Masjid-e-Khaja Mehmood was supposedly demolished by municipal authorities alongside the RGIA-Cyberabad police here on Monday mid night.

According to the media, At 3 AM The Masjid-e-Khaja Mehmood was shaheed by bulldozer. The mosque is located at Green Avenue Colony in Shamshabad.

The masjid at Shamshabad was built three years back and they offer salah 5 times a day



consistently. A larger part of individuals remaining there are Muslims. In 2016, Taher Ali and Tayeb Ali, of Prestige Infra gave 2 plots of 250 square yards of land for the mosque and was it was developed.

A local resident of Shamshabad in the area named Vishal Singh approached the court contesting the masjid’s construction. The case over its legality is going on in court. The another case was filed by area people against Vishal Singh alleging his house was illegally built.
