Lockdown violators will be penalised: V C Sajjanar

Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar warned those who recently returned from abroad against moving out freely instead of being in home quarantine.

In an order issued by him on Monday late evening, Sajjanar said in view of the lock down, there will be prohibition on the movement of people and vehicles between 7 pm to 6 am until March



31.

“Those defying the orders will be penalised and their vehicles will be seized,” he said adding the vehicles will only be returned after the situation gets back to normalcy. Officials said about 80 cases were booked against motorists for violating the order until late evening.
