The side effects of demonitisation of `500 and `1,000 notes were felt in the Hyderabad city on Friday, as people faced severe hardships in exchanging notes in banks or withdraw them. Though it was announced that people can



withdraw money from ATMs from Friday, many couldn’t because the machines weren’t working. While technical glitches threw ATMs out of gear at some places, at others they were shut down due to lack of money. Some banks did not fill money in ATMs as all the money they got from RBI was exhausted for exchange.Demonitisation affects every walks of life in Hyderabad.
