The Hyderabad City Police M Mahender Reddy inaugurated 80 surveillance cameras under the Hussaini Alam police station limits in the old city on Wednesday morning. These were part of the community CCTV project.
Speaking at the launch, the Police Commissioner said, “The surveillance cameras are for the safety and security of the public. Each one should take it as
a responsibility to make Hyderabad and the old city, a ‘Diamond City’.”The Commissioner further said, the city police will always be with the citizens and provide them security at all times.
Charminar MLA, Pasha Quadri, Singareni Collieries Managing Director, N Sridhar and South Zone DCP V Satyanarayana and others were present.
