The state government on Tuesday effected 11 transfers of IAS officers, including that of Hyderabad district collector. The transfers come in the backdrop of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao toying with the idea of going in for early Assembly polls.

Ranga Reddy district collector M Raghunandan Rao has been transferred and posted as Hyderabad district collector in place of Yogita Rana. On transfer, she has been posted as director, Public Health and Family Welfare, relieving Vakati Karuna from full additional charge. Khammam collector Lokesh Kumar has been posted as RR collector.

Two other significant transfers are that of Rajanna-Sircilla and Siddipet districts. The transfer of collectors for these two districts is a swap. While municipal administration minister KT Rama Rao represents Sircilla in the Assembly, irrigation minister Harish Rao represents Siddipet constituency. Krishna Bhaskar, who has been transferred as Siddipet collector.

A transfer has also been effected in Gajwel, from where KCR is an MLA. M Hanumantha Rao, special officer, Gajwel Area Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as Sanga Reddy district collector replacing V Venkateswarlu.

Kumrambheen-Asifabad district collector Patil Prashant Jeevan has been transferred and posted as Warangal urban district collector in place of Amrapali Kata, who has been transferred. However, no posting has been mentioned for her.

Bhadradri-Kothagudem collector Rajeevgandhi Hanumantha has been posted as Kumrambheen-Asifabad district collector. Mancherial district collector RV Karnan has been transferred and posted as Khammam collector. Sangareddy collector V Venkateshwarlu has been transferred and posted as Jayashankar-Bhupalapally collector in place of D Amoy Kumar, who will take over as Bhadradri-Kothagudem collector.
