The day temperature in Mahbubnagar rose to 38.2 during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Friday, even as no large change in the maximum temperatures in Telangana was reported. The temperatures were above normal by 1.6 to 3 degrees Celsius at one or two places, the Met department bulletin said.
Mahbubnagar, Adilabad, Bhadrachalam and Nizamabad had



recorded 37 degrees Celsius each on Wednesday. In the recent past Mahbubnagar had recorded the highest maximum of over 40 degrees Celsius.
The other maximum temperatures recorded on Friday in the State were: Bhadrachalam, Nizamabad 37.1 deg C each, Khammam 36.2, Medak 36.1, Adilabad, Ramagundam 36 each, Hanamkonda, Hyderabad, Nalgonda 35 each, Hakimpet 33.
