Major blast in company at Shadnagar kills three, several injured

Three persons were reportedly killed and at least ten others were injured in a blast which took place in a company at the industrial area in Shadnagar on the city outskirts on Friday.

The compressor glass blast in the furnace section of the company is suspected to have led to the



fire.

On receiving information, the police and fire department officials reached the spot and took up the rescue operation. The injured were shifted to a nearby private hospital. The condition of three persons is said to be critical.

The Shadnagar police are investigating.
