Major fire breaks out in Shaikpet commercial building

A major fire broke out at a building at Shaikpet in the city on Friday morning.

According to officials, the fire started initially on the second floor of a commercial building located at Shaikpet road.

“The fire broke out in a medical centre on the second floor of the building and spread to a coaching centre rapidly. The second and third floor bore maximum brunt of the



fire,” said an official.

On the ground floor a super market is located and fearing the fire spreading to the place the officials took preventive measures.

Fire fighters from different stations rushed to the spot and started the efforts. The operation is still going on and fire officials the fire is brought under control.
