Man drowns during Ganesh idol immersion in Bhongir

 In a tragic incident during the Ganesh idol immersion ceremony, a young man lost his life after accidentally slipping into a pond in Yadadri Bhongir district on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as Praveen from Jiblak Palli in Bhoodan Pochampally Mandal, was participating in the immersion rituals when the accident



occurred.

Eyewitnesses said Praveen slipped while taking a dip in the pond, which was filled to the brim. Due to the depth of the pond, onlookers were unable to rescue him immediately. Efforts are currently underway to recover his body. Local authorities have initiated steps to retrieve the body.
