Man ends life at Amberpet after failing to repay loans he took through a loan app.

A security guard died, allegedly by suicide, in his house in Amberpet on Friday reportedly after failing to repay loans he took through a loan app.

According to the police, M Naresh (28), a resident of DD colony, had recently came across an ad on online loans while playing a mobile game.

“Naresh took some amount from a loan app and spent it on



online games. When he failed to repay it, some persons were calling him over phone and harassing him,” the family told the police, adding that Naresh might have ended his life by hanging to a ceiling fan due to this harassment.

The police have booked a case under Section 174 of CrPC and are investigating. Naresh’s mobile phone is being analyzed for the call details.
