The Rachakonda police arrested one person who allegedly cheated several persons on the pretext of providing various jobs in the film industry.

Police said Kasi Sunil Kumar (27) a resident of Sramika Nagar in Visakhapatnam, introduced himself as a manager at Ramoji Film City and an assistant director as well. He hosted an application ‘Cine Drive-In’ and posted links on



Facebook.

“Whenever any Tollywood work aspirants filled the form on the application, Sunil Kumar would contact them over phone and tell them they were selected. He would collect money online and dupe them,” Rachakonda Cybercrime Inspector M Surendar said.

Based on complaint from a victim who was duped of Rs.90,000, a case was booked and the suspect arrested.
