Man murdered, family members stage protest, disrupt traffic

Hyderabad: The family members of Syed Sharfuddin who was killed by the rowdy sheeters staged protest along with the dead body of Sharfuddin in Masab Tank area. The protestors disrupted traffic.

The protest was staged on the road at 4:30 p.m. on 1st February. The protestors demanded that the culprits should be hanged.

It may be mentioned that rowdy sheeters, Arshad Bakhtiyar and Firdous alias Shooter Firdous had murdered the car mechanic, Mr. Syed Sharfuddin. Police registered a case and arrested three persons but the protestors



expressed discontentment on the police investigations. They gave a message that the activities of Rowdy sheets would not be tolerated in the area anymore.

ACP of Asif Nagar, Mr. K. Ashok Chakravarti told that police is in search of the culprits and there has been progress in the investigation. DCP of West Zone, Mr. A. Venkateshwar Rao commissioned all the rowdy sheeters of his zone and warned them. The dead body of Syed Sharfuddin was laid to rest in First Lancers Graveyard which was attended by a large number of local residents and family members.
