Asked to clear pending traffic challans, a youngster set his scooter afire at Shamshabad on Tuesday.
Traffic police said the vehicle had 26 pending challans. During vehicle checking, his scooter was stopped and he was asked to clear the challans.
He picked up an argument with the cops during
which he opened the fuel tank lid and set it afire.
However, police doused the fire with water. Following the incident, police registered a fresh case against him on charges of an act endangering the life or personal safety of others and seized the vehicle.
