Union Power and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar yesterday emphasized the need for separating the electricity feeder line for the agriculture sector in every state. Reviewing the Telangana power sector with the state leadership in Hyderabad, the Union Minister said that even if the state government is supplying electricity to agriculture free of cost, a separate feeder line will enhance accountability. 

He also stressed the need for last-mile connectivity with respect to Metro Rail projects. The minister reviewed urban affairs projects during his day-long visit to Telangana. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, State Chief

\The state government has urged the Centre to sanction over 23 lakh houses under the PMAY and over 55 thousand crore rupees in assistance for various urban development projects. These include over 24 thousand crore rupees for the Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion project, 10 thousand crore rupees for the Musi Rejuvenation Project, 17 thousand crore rupees for the Sewerage Master Plan, and 4 thousand crore rupees for the Warangal Underground Drainage project. Earlier, Mr. Khattar inaugurated several projects developed under the Karimnagar Smart City program.
