The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) will be setting up its regional office for (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) at the Haj House building at Nampally.
A delegation of officials from the MANUU met with the officials of the TS Wakf Board on Monday and discussed it. The TS Wakf Board officials have agreed to a lot necessary space and help with other facilities required for the purpose.
A senior official of the TS Wakf Board said that students from the city will get to visit
the administrative office of the MANUU and get to know about the courses offered through regular, distance and online modes. “The regional center will be in the midst of the city and students desirous to enroll with the university will benefit through it. Otherwise, they had to travel to Gachibowli,” said the official. For the time being, only administrative work will be done from the office. “At a later stage, we will plan to organise classes for distance education after studying the requirements needed,” said the official.
